Beer Hawk - Closed
If you like to drink varied and interesting beers and ales then you’ll know how hard is it to find really good ones. You either have to trawl supermarket shelves for hours or else pay a visit to a specialist shop and ask them for advice. It’s not ideal in this day and age where time is at a premium. Wouldn’t it be great if you could just subscribe to a company whose opinion you trust and have them deliver the beers straight to your door?
Say hello to Beer Hawk or, more specifically, to Beer Hawk’s Beer Club. They take all of the guesswork out of your search for a tasty tipple, only sending you the very best craft beers from around the world. Not only that but if you don’t like a particular beer then you don’t have to pay for it. Talk about win/win! Beer Hawk also promise that you’ll never receive the same beer twice in a twelve month period. It’s a risk free way to try ales and beers that you may otherwise never have heard about!

How Does It Work?
Much like with any sort of subscription, whether it is to a gym or for a magazine, you sign up to receive beers delivered straight to your door on a regular basis. You choose how many beers you want and are then charged a set amount of money for them. Your subscription will continue until you cancel it, although if you’re off on holiday or something then you might want to pause your membership or skip a month.
What Do You Get?
You get craft beers that have been rigorously taste tested to ensure that they are of the highest quality possible. These aren’t your bog-standard mass-produced beers, either. These are the very best beers from around the world. You’ll get brand new discoveries, old classics and seasonal favourites that are only available for a short period of time. This is a chance to discover a wide range of beers of all sorts of types and styles.
How do you feel about getting artisan beers from Germany? Craft beers from New Zealand? Belgian beers, real ales and wheat beers? These are drinks made with dedication and passion, as good as guaranteed to tickle your tastebuds. How many beers you get depends entirely on which size crate you opt for, but you’ll get to experience a wide range of different types of beers no matter what.
Options
The only real option available comes in the form of the size of crate that you order. The smaller option includes a selection of 9 beers and the larger option includes 15 beers. After that you’re putting your faith in the Beer Hawk fairies to choose the type, strength and colour of the beers you’ll receive. Though most of the beers will be in bottles they might occasionally come in cans too. You don’t have a choice on this, we’re just giving you a heads up!
Examples
Boxes tend to have a theme, though this isn’t always the case. Previous Beer Clubs have included a KeTo RePorter from Birra del Borgo and a Duchessa Saison from the same brewery. Craft Brew’s Pomelmocello, a Brooklyn Summer Ale and Victory Vital IPA have also been sent out in the past. In December, Beer Hawk featured work by Bad Co. from North Yorkshire, who like to name their beers after rock songs. How about a bottle of Dazed and Confused or Comfortable Numb? Alternatively, Cloudwater’s Porter or Motueka Lager might interest you a bit more. The choices are virtually endless, and remember, you’ll never be sent the same beer twice in a year.
